22nd annual jewelry exhibition JCK Las Vegas, which was held in the hotel complex Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino from May 31 to June 3, ended. This year more than 36 thousand people visited the exhibition. The attendance of JCK Las Vegas over the past two years has increased dynamically by almost 1.8 times, according to the statistics of the organizers.
The number of exhibitors in 2013 has not changed significantly: just like last year, about 2,500 manufacturers and designers presented their products to JCK. Nevertheless, the composition and geography of the participants changed. This year, 300 new exhibitors appeared at the exhibition, but approximately the same number did not return to JCK. If last year companies from 22 countries were represented at the exhibition, in 2013 their geography expanded to 32 countries.
Activity in the JCK diamond section declined slightly, because there were fewer buyers from Asia on the show, Rapaport reported. The main activity in the diamond section of the exhibition was noted mainly in dealer trade, rather than in orders from wholesalers and retailers.
