Initially, the deadline for receiving applications for the registration of Israeli companies for the event, which will be held in August, was set August 4, but then the date was moved to June 21. Thus, Israeli diamond companies have a little over two weeks to register at the International Diamond Week, while the deadlines for accepting applications for international participants have not changed.
The decision to shorten the deadline for applications for registration in the diamond week was taken after the number of registered Israeli diamantaires exceeded 260 companies, including 20 large firms.
The American / International Diamond Week will be held from 26 to 29 August and will provide for large and small diamantaires a platform where they will be able to present their products on equal terms. The decision to hold the second diamond week was made after the deafening success of the debut event in March this year.
