Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC), a member of the administrative mechanism of the Kimberley Process (KP), announced the launch of www.kimberleyprocess.com with a new design, Rapaport reports. The change in the structure and design of the KP site was aimed at improving the efficiency and ensuring the continuity of the organization's operations by accessing a comprehensive database with all updates, as well as tools supporting the operations of the KP, AWDC reports.
The new site contains all the news, contact details, official documents and a calendar of events - information useful to KP members and other individuals and organizations.
On the tenth anniversary of the KP, the World Diamond Council and the chairman of the KP, Welile Nhlapo, representing South Africa, signed an agreement on the establishment of an administrative support mechanism for the KP on an ongoing basis.
