The decision to remove the official Harare Chinese companies with the diamond fields of Marange (Marange) in February led to a sharp deterioration in relations between Zimbabwe and China.
Chinese Anjin diamond and other companies filed a lawsuit against the official Harare to challenge the decision to suspend their activities.
Zimbabwe Independent reports that the Chinese shareholders of the company met with representatives of the Chinese government and expressed their disappointment at the lack of respect for African countries to the rights of ownership of the government.
It is unclear whether Beijing is implementing plans for multi-billion dollar financing energy infrastructure, and Zimbabwe, on which the contracts were signed by Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe in 2014 and 2015.
State media recently announced that the large investment projects shall remain in force despite the lack of evidence of their implementation.
China has long supported Zimbabwe after Western countries began to avoid the country because of the chaotic land reform in 2000. In addition, reports of an unstable political situation and election fraud in this country.
