Pangolin Diamonds reported that recently, in soil samples with diamond project Malatsvae (Malatswae) three new diamonds were discovered in Botswana.
The company reported that the size of one of the diamond is on the order of 2 mm, the stone has a white color and transparency.
A total of 16 diamonds larger than 0.5 mm have been found within the selection to Malatsvae samples.
In the first zone nine diamonds from soil samples have been received and are currently the focus is on the grid area of 2 square kilometers, where four of the nine diamond and kimberlite several other mineral-indicators were found.
New diamond was discovered in one of the samples taken in the second zone.
In this area 275 samples were selected on the grid 250 x 250 m, covering its entire area.
Meanwhile, in Pangolin it noted that in Botswana there was a very unusual season of heavy rains.
"Wet weather adversely affected the progress of the sampling program in terms of access to certain areas," - said in a statement.
"The heavy rain did not affect the processing of soil samples on the DMS plant, and detailed ground geomagnetic research", - concluded the Pangolin.
