Botswana Resource Sector opens in the capital of Botswana, Gaborone.
The two-day event will be officially opened by Boikobo Paya, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Mining, Energy and Water Resources.
Within the framework of the conference, the presentations will include diamond mining companies, including Kimberley Diamonds, Petra Diamonds, Boteti Mining and Pangolin Diamonds.
Among the speakers are also representatives of companies engaged in the extraction of coal and copper and engaged in the energy sector.
Botswana is the world's largest diamond-mining state by the cost of raw materials produced.
