Gemfields, which produces emeralds and rubies in Zambia and Mozambique, is going to work with Select Jewelry to distribute jewelry and work with large retailers in the US and Canada.
IdexOnline reports that Select Jewelry will design and manufacture special jewelry collections with colored gems using emeralds and rubies supplied by Gemfields.

"Our partnership will ensure participation in each stage of creating added value and will ensure that consumers are provided with responsible supplies of precious stones" from the mine to the market. "
