US Antique Shows reported a 9 percent increase in attendance on the first day of the Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, which opened Oct. 25, Rapaport reports.
"All the days of the event there was a fuss in the room. Many exhibitors say that sales have significantly exceeded their expectations, "said Dan Darby, GLM vice president and director of US Antique Shows.
In the past antique fair, more than 100 dealers participated, representing world-known brands of jewelry from such companies as Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany & Co., David Webb, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe and Van Cleef & Arpels.
The participant of the fair Lenore Dailey (Lenore Dailey) notes: "The fair of antiques and watches Miami Beach has always been for me a good platform, and this year was no exception. As in previous years, my customers included English, Dutch, Belgian, Italian and Australian dealers, as well as a large number of customers from New York and California. "
