According to the Indian edition of TOI, the campaign to move offices of diamond firms from Mumbai to Surat is gaining popularity: more than 1,000 Mumbai diamantaires have applied for office space in the established diamond exchange in Surat (Sardar Diamond Bourse).
According to some statements, the DTC sightholder who initiated this campaign, along with other diamantaires, is looking for a land plot of about 200,000 square meters. m on the Vesu-Dumas road in Surat, for the construction of a world-class diamond exchange, which will house offices of diamond companies and small traders' offices.
